The 2024 Waggoner family portrait with Zack, Lexie, and their two children, Lucy and Theo.
Zack Waggoner
Iām a middle school principal and have been an educator for more than 15 years. I met Shane when I was looking for a property where my young kids could grow up in the great outdoors. We share the same values and desire to make the world a better place.
My wife Lexie, a former teacher and preschool director, and I have two children: Theo loves to read and explore the world, and Lucy has a sense of joy that is unmatched. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and woodworking. My favorite project to date is building a squirrel house with Theo and Lucy. I enjoy being with my family and having breakfast with my kids on the weekends.
One of my favorite places when I was a kid was my great grandma's house. Grandma Jo Jo lived on the same farm that my family founded in the early 1800s. It was mostly pasture and cattle when I was kid, but I loved being out there. My dad took over the property a few years ago and created Fallen Oak Campground and Vineyard, where people can find their sense of place.
I believe that everyone should have a place where they can feel safe. This has always been important to me as an educator and has motivated me to provide property management services for others. Affordable, clean, and safe housing has become a huge passion of mine. As an educator, I have seen too many kids in unsafe environments. I want to change that for people.
I'm incredibly grateful to have Shane's guidance and mentorship. He is a true servant leader and works hard to create lasting relationships with those in his care.
